2023 EXT Pop-Ups Commission Contest: Open to current WC fellows and alums. The winner will receive a $500 award to compose a piece for EXTENSITY’s 2023 EXT Pop-Ups Series spotlighting talented, emerging composers. The work will be premiered by a professional musician in Fall 2023 in Brooklyn, NY. The winner will also receive a high-quality video and audio recording of the concert. The piece should be written for unaccompanied violin or cello and have a duration of 5-8 minutes long. Winner: Hannah Chen.
